Who We Are

Serving Our Community with Pride

We are the men and women who wear blue and protect you. We are the body that negotiates workplace conditions for 54 members of our community’s police force. We are the men and women in uniform who come to your door in times of need.

We are the people who safeguard your city while you work, sleep, dine, and enjoy an exceptional quality of life in Monterey Park. We are dedicated employees of the city and police department. We educate the public on safety awareness and provide important safety tips.

We are proud members of the Monterey Park Chamber of Commerce and actively support its causes. We give back to those in need by donating to many local charities and supporting community fundraisers, including the West San Gabriel Boys & Girls Club, the Asian Youth Center, the MPPD Annual Youth Activities Golf Tournament, the Lions Club, local school PTAs, and many more.

We regularly participate in holiday food drives and support Santa Claus each year when he comes to town.

We are here for our members and our community—and have been since 1979.

Our Mission

The Monterey Park Police Officers' Association was established to bridge the gap between our officers and the citizens and businesses of Monterey Park.

Our association fulfills this mission through the following objectives:

  • Collecting, organizing, and sharing important and relevant information for our members and the community
  • Promoting engagement, fellowship, and the well-being of our membership
  • Protecting the rights and interests of our members in all legal matters
